1981 Suzuki FZ50 Moped Retro Twist and Go Scooter (Youdy, Suzy or Rascal!) SOLD

In original condition with the dealers suppliers name on the headlamp - Berni Hockey, Castle Cary, Somerset. This model was nicknamed the Youdy in Japan, and Suzy and Rascal in other countries.

• Air cooled 49cc two-stroke engine with an automatic 2 speed-transmission.
• The bike starts and runs and pulls well. Simply, hold the left lever in, turn it on and give it a kick.
• The choke cable is missing and needs replacing.
• The controls, horn, lights and indicators are all in working condition.
• The seat is torn which was a common issue that this model suffered with, however a new cover could be redone for about £40-£50.
• The plastics in general are very good so the bike must not have had much exposure to the sun. There is a crack in one side of the leg shields.
• There are many original features such as labels on the fuel tank and leg shields which is nice to see.
• The indicators are also shiny and all there!
• No V5.
• Some surface rust in places as expected with the age.

Overall a cracking little moped suitable to keep for investment, ride or restore.
