An aftermarket replacement for the AR2-12 Gurtner carburettor
--- The inlet insert has an approx 16.75mm internal diameter so you will need to also purchase manifold 16619 (see related items). Or it may be possible to replace the white insert collar.

- Mobylette Series 50
- Mobylette 50V
- Mobylette 50S*
- Mobylette 50VS
- Mobylette 50VL
**Fits Models excluding the 50S and 50L (since 1971) that were fitted with the engine long side mounting tube. The carb will work with these, but the airbox would may protrude. Please check image to your carburettor or ask for more details.
This carburettor is an aftermarket part which is a replica of the original AR2 style Gurtner, mobylette part number 20026 and includes the following:-
- Throttle slide
- Choke enrichment plunger and spring
- Plastic Airbox with clip and filter
- Float and filter
- Improved Jets
Adjustment
The carburettor settings should not need adjusting, however it is common practice to adjust any new carburettor to obtain the best running performance.
The carburettor is compatible with the original cables and new ones supplied by Classic Moped Spares
Performance: -
The carburettor should give slightly improved performance compared to the original BA and AR type carburettors. A video of a carburettor tested can be found by clicking here
