These piston rings sit either side of the piston peg lug. They are an L type shape when you look side on.

Does not replace the scarf joint type rings on models such as the AV3 etc

Note: As to the manufacturers guidance from 1975 (image attached), all new rings are of bigger size and will need to be adjusted. This may mean that they need filing prior to gap adjustment. Please check the rings in the barrel for size before fitting on a piston to avoid breaking.
