1952 (Circa) Motoconfort Motobecane Moby 125cc Scooter for Restoration (Extremely Rare) EBAY AUCTION

This Motobecane Moby is probably one of the rarest scooters in the World. They only imported about 50 of these into the Uk in the 1950's and this is the only known surviving example.

There are some good restored examples in France where there were probably more survive. The price of a restored one is a bit of an unknown as serious collectors dont give much away! 

There is a surviving example in the Birdwood Mill National Museum in Australia.

Highlights

- A 125cc Motobecane Moby Scooter from the 1950's

- The registration number is now driving on a Volkswagen somewhere in the Uk according to the DVLA database, so if you are going to restore it to use in the UK then it will need to be re-registered with a new number. Nothing to do with me I am afraid.

- There is a surprising amount of parts with it, number plate cover for the spare wheel, headlight, front mudguard and rear side panel. In the right hands the bike could be restored to former glory

- The engine has the carburettor intact and the kickstart.

- Seat frames intactwhich could be easily covered.
