Please do not ask for replacement woodruff keys for Raleigh RM4,RM5,RM6 Runabout,RM7 Wisp,RM8,RM9,RM11,RM12 Mopeds

These are items that we do not sell, because of the potential damage that they can cause if they break.

Mobylette dealers who serviced the Raleigh range of engines under licence stopped fitting/replacing these keys and also in any late models. There was not even a groove for them to be fitted if you check later model shafts..

If everything is put back together tightly and correctly then the key was effectively surplus to requirements.

Please no longer send me any more information about problems caused by breaking woodruff keys, I do sympathise, but once the damage is done there is little that can be done if one has shattered and wrecked your engine. If you are lucky enough that the damage is not too severe then we may be able to help with replacement clutch units.
