Charming Velo Solex 3800 Moped

With Uk Registerd Number Plate and V5 Document matching the engine and frame numbers.

The bike was declared manufactured in 1975 and the dating certificate is included. 

The MOT just expired in April 2017 and previously the bike had been MOT'd the last 4 years which would indicate that it has been maintained and in regular use.

The owner must have intended to mot it again as the bike is taxed until April 2018 (please note tax is not transferable). 

In Running Order with working lights and audible electric horn. 

There is a dealers label on the frame which states:-

• Supplied by,
• Cyclops,
• 54 George Street,
• Brighton.
• This would suggest the bike is one of the original ones sold/introduced new into the UK.

The model has attractive panniers and original tool kit and pump.

The light is mounted on the handlebars which is unusual for the 3800 model, but I have seen Swedish models with this configuration. 

The throttle is controlled using the twitst grip on the handlbar which is a useful feature which was not available on early models

Much work has been done to maintain the bike running by previous owners, including the metal tank being replaced by the plastic fuel tank which does not rust.

A charming little bike, which is running and UK registered.
