The major club website based in the UK for Solex enthusiasts is now back up and running after a short break. The Forum can be found using the link http://www.velosolexclubuk.com/

I have just published a quick video on facebook. It uses just a small range of our images including a model on scooter (still waiting for the moped pictures!), great wheel rims and a customer's Solex restoration.

You have possibly heard the term 'Simplex' used with Velosolex. The Solex was always designed to be simple to work on. It is after all a bicycle with a small front mounted engine with a front mudguard cut out for the drive roller to engage.

On the 6th April 2016 my mother sadly passed away after losing her fight with cancer. The past few weeks and months have been extremely hard and I appreciate all the support and help I have had from everyone, including Family, Friends, Customers and Carers, and in particular St Margaret's Hospice, Taunton.
