Apologies firstly as we are a bit fussy with restorations when we have done them in the past and we like to make sure that the important details are done correctly, If a jobs worth doing its worth doing right!
We have NEW replacement number plate numerical and alphabetical letters available for Front and Rear Plates.
These are made to the original Doherty regulation size and keep the original quality. The equipment used to make these made the originals so they are not copies.

Replacement Clutch Drum to replace part number 17251
To see a video of a Clutch Drum being fully tested by Classic Moped Spares please click here . The engine also has been fitted with a new carburettor, clutch nut and grease nipple.
We have also now added a number of complete clutch units as well.
Please note new units do not come with Woodruff Keys. These were thrown away when Mobylette serviced bikes due to the potential damage that they could cause if they broke. You will not find later models of mobylette or new replacement clutches with Woodruff keys.
Mobylette stoppped fitting/replacing these keys and in later models. There was not even a groove for them to be fitted if you check later model shafts..
If everything is put back together tightly and correctly then the key was effectively surplus to requirements.
Please no longer send me any more information about problems caused by breaking

Our aim is to help you get mopeds restored from picking up a book and checking off what parts you need right through to replacing what ever needs to be done. Obviously we can't help with everything, but you never know we may know someone who can.

August 19, 2016Many Mobylette Engines were fitted with a BA10 or AR2 Gurtner Carburettor. The BA was common on early models and then later models had the AR2 as standard. Higher performance models had the H14 Carb, but we will not concern ourselves with those for the moment.
